Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when you visit clash-win64.com, read its documentation, or use its download links. Read them before downloading software, importing configurations, or changing your system network settings. This site provides reference materials and download guidance; it is not affiliated with the developers of the projects mentioned.

1. Scope of these materials

Client overviews, configuration examples, terminology, and troubleshooting steps on this site are for educational reference. They are intended to help explain how proxy clients work and how desktop network settings are configured. They are not legal advice, security audit findings, or a guarantee that anything will work in a particular network environment.

Field names and menu options in the documentation may vary by client, core, and operating system. Before making changes, check the actual interface and project documentation. Do not assume examples are production-ready for every device. If you are unsure about a setting, leave its current value unchanged.

2. Lawful use

You are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations that apply where you are and in your particular use case, as well as the rules of your network provider, school, employer, and the services you access. You must determine whether you are authorized to use the relevant software and network services.

Do not use this site's materials or linked software for unlawful purposes, including unauthorized system access, data theft, cyberattacks, privacy violations, or distributing illegal content. Do not use proxy features to bypass lawful access controls or disrupt other people's use of the network.

3. Software and third-party services

Related software is provided by its respective open-source project or developer. Its features, maintenance status, and terms of use are governed by the project's release notes and applicable license. Providing download guidance does not give this site control over any project, nor does it mean developer-level technical support is available.

The original Clash for Windows project is no longer maintained. Archived materials may help you understand older setups, but do not indicate that security fixes or compatibility updates are still being released. Before installing, compare actively maintained alternative clients. Subscription, server, and account services are provided by their respective operators; this site is not involved in their transactions, authorization, or fulfillment.

4. Risks and limits of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, materials on this site are provided as is. We do not guarantee that they will always be complete, accurate, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that download links, third-party pages, or software services will remain available. Third-party content and service terms may change independently.

Changing system proxy, DNS, routing, or virtual network adapter settings may disrupt your network connection. Back up your configuration and learn how to restore it before making changes. To the extent permitted by law, this site is not liable for connection issues, data loss, or other damages caused by software defects, incorrect settings, third-party service outages, or user actions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law prohibits doing so.

5. Intellectual property and open-source licenses

Rights to software names, trademarks, icons, and project code belong to their respective owners. References to these names on this site are solely to identify products and describe compatibility. They do not imply brand authorization, a business relationship, or endorsement by any project.

Open source does not mean copyright-free. When copying, modifying, or distributing software, or using its code, follow the license included with the applicable version, including any attribution, license-notice, and source-code requirements. When citing materials from this site, credit the source and do not remove risk notices or misrepresent the original meaning.

6. Changes to these terms and further information

These terms may be revised to reflect legal requirements, changes to the scope of the content, or changes to the services. Revisions will be posted on this page and the month shown at the top will be updated. Unless otherwise stated, revised terms apply to use from the date they are posted. Matters that legally require separate notice or consent will be handled as required by applicable law.

If you do not accept the applicable terms, stop using the related content and links. For installation, configuration, or network recovery issues, consult the FAQ and user guide, and check each step against your client. Contact the relevant provider about licensing or service disputes involving third-party software.
